Last year’s Samsung Galaxy A8 was quite a popular smartphone with a decent offering under the hood. This year, the phone is going to get a significant upgrade in the form of Galaxy A8 (2016). Today, the phone has been spotted on Samsung page and some important details about the device have come to light.

Carrying model number SM-A810F, the new Samsung Galaxy A8 2016 is running the company’s own Exynos 7420 octa-core processor under the hood. There’s 3GB of RAM and the device is running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. There’s no other information available on the Samsung page.
According to the previous GFXBench listing of the device, the phone might come with a 5.1-inch Full HD screen and 32GB internal expandable storage. Expect a 5MP front camera (with flash possibly) and a 16MP rear camera. Please note that the model number of the device spotted on GFXBench was SM-A810, while the Samsung one is SM-A810F. But we expect them to be the same devices.
In case you don’t know, the phone has already got Bluetooth certification. This gives us a hint that the phone may launch soon. The official Samsung Galaxy A8 2016 launch date remains unknown currently. We’ll let you know if we find any more info about the device.
