Once in a while, an announcement for a phone comes out that is — for lack of a better term — bananas. If you didn’t know better, you might think the report covered a concept phone created by someone who doesn’t have a very good understanding of how technology works, and we would love to claim that’s what we’re seeing with the Turing Phone Cadenza. But, this seems to really be coming from Turing Robotics Industries (TRI). 

The claim is that in 2017, TRI will release a device called the Turing Phone Cadenza that has specs that are too insane to be believed. The Cadenza is said to be powered by two (yes two) Snapdragon 830 SoCs. The 830 is planned for release in early 2017, but why a phone would need two of them is hard to imagine. Maybe it’s because the Cadenza is also supposed to ship with 12GB of RAM and the Snapdragon 830 only supports up to 8GB of RAM, so you would need two in order to make use of 12GB of RAM. 

The Cadenza is said to have dual 20-megapixel front cameras and a 60-megapixel “iMAX 6K Quad Rear Camera, Triplet Lens/T1.2” which makes no sense unless you assume that’s a typo and it actually should be an F1.2 aperture lens. Of course, that only helps it make sense in terms of using real terminology. Obviously, a camera that captures 60MP photos or 6K video would need a lot of storage so the device has 1-terabyte of storage and two microSD card slots. 

For connectivity, you’ll get four nanoSIM slots (because why not) and WiGig. And, obviously powering a device like this will take a lot of juice, so the Cadenza will have maybe the least believable thing on the whole spec sheet, which is 100wh from three power sources: a 2400mAh graphene superconductor battery, a 1600mAh lithium ion battery, and a hydrogen fuel cell. 

And, just in case all of that isn’t crazy enough, there’s also the Swordfish OS (supposedly a variant of Sailfish) capable of deep learning, running a neural network, natural language processing, and using differential privacy. It’s honestly like someone at TRI just put together a spreadsheet of buzz words and the silliest collection of specs and justified it by saying “It is our belief that we can disrupt the status quo by bringing the Turing Phone Cadenza from the future to the present.”

As per company announcement the smartphone will come in 5.8-inch QHD screen with the resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels for the best and vivid display.

PROCESOR

The smartphone is also offering two quad-core Snapdragon 830 SoCs processor which is supposedly enough to play 3d games like we seen on PC to the computer and allow the user to perform various tasks at the same time. With the processor like this user does not need to close the application and can run lots of apps at the same time without glitchy or hanging.

CAMERA

Until know, we only hear about 4K video recording well with this new phone the scale has been reached higher. The new smartphone is offering 60 MP Triplet Lens/T1.2 camera which records 6K videos and can click photo similar or higher to high definition camera. The smartphone will also support 20 MP front facing camera which can click very good selfies and record self-videos.

STORAGE

Turing company has given massive storage space to its smartphone 512 GB which can only be seen in laptop until now. If 512 GB is somewhere to be less in this smartphone don’t worry the company support 2 SD card storage device which means you can raise the inbuilt storage capacity to up to 1 TB which is good to store 6K video and snaps.

SIM

The company support 4 sim card slots in Cadena smartphone which i think supportive for the business person who carry two smartphones. The average person can use not more than two sims at the same time but it will be the good feature for those who need more than two sims.

BATTERY

As for the battery support the smartphone has 100 Wh battery support from three device source which is 2400mAh graphene superconductor and on the second list 1600mAh lithium ion battery and hydrogen battery cell which can perform the high-end task ;like 6K video recording in this device.

OPERAMINI SYSTEM

The smartphone runs on Swordfish OS which is similar and variant to sailfish os. The new operating system os capable of running a neural network, can able to process various language and uses various privacy options.

Turing Phone Cadenza smartphone will come in Graphene Oxide Composite frame with Liquid metal structure around the phone.

TURING PHONE CADENZA PRICE

The smartphone will be expected to purchase at the price of naira 251800.00 in Nigeria and in abroad it will be around 800 dollars. This is just expected a price of the smartphone the new price will be added once the company has announced the update in its price.

The smartphone has just announced yet it is not confirmed whether the smartphone will come in a market or not. But according to company announcement the smartphone will be launched in 2017 and when the company announced its release date we will update the information here.
