MTN introduced Extra time that allow you to borrow airtime any time you runs out of it, now the have introduced Extrabyte that let you borrow data and pay back when ever you recharge you line. This a nice turn up from MTN and i think very soon other network will copy from MTN and give out Extrabyte soon.
What Is MTN Extrebyt
MTN Extrabyte is an offer from MTN that let you borrow MB when ever you do not have or runs out of one, it works normal as your extra time. I know in some secumstances you have borrowed one airtime from MTN and you enjoyed using it, that how the Extarabyte works.
How Can I Be Eligible For MTN Extrabyte
If you are eligible for MTN Extra time you probably are eligible fo the Extrabyte but to be more straight.
1. You Sim must be registered
2. You must have been recharging your line at list once or twice a week for a month from the day you purchased your Sim.
3. Your Sim be active for 2-4 months from the day of purchase.
4. Before you borrow you account balance must be bellow 13naira.
To know if you are Eligible is not hard, if you have been using the Extra time you have no worries, but uf you line is new you can just dial *606# then answer with 1 and you will be told by MTN system through SMS if you are Eligible.
How Many MB can I bellow From MTN Extrabyte
Now MTN gave out a list down of the MB the can borrow to customers but you can get more than what you see on the list if you keep recharging and keep buying MB from them. This is the list

Just use the normal code you use for your Extratime which is *606# and follow the screen prompt by answering with the number of what you are going for.

30MB is valid for 24hrs
100MB is valid for 24hrs
299MB is valid for 48hrs
750MB is valid for 7days
NOTE: You cant borrow data from MTN when you have an outstanding payment, as you so not have your extratime on your main balance is how this extrebyte is also for you to check your extrabyt balance you need to dial *606# then follow the screen prompt.
