As known by many that Facebook is the owner of Whatsapp and Instagram, for the purpose of those that don’t know this yet, facebook has decided to let people be aware of their software and app.
Both of the apps were developed outside of Facebook, they have different corporate cultures and have thrived, in part, by having their own identities with consumers. Founders of the photo-sharing app and the messaging service move out of Facebook in 2018.
A Facebook spokesman has confirmed the change coming to WhatsApp and Instagram, he said: “We want to be clearer about the products and services that are part of Facebook.”
Currently, Facebook has already notified Instagram and WhatsApp employees that it plans to rebrand both apps.
